Welcome and thank you for choosing to be a part of the BACHAO Ambassador family. We are extremely excited that you would like to be part of a strong team of young talented teens. The mission of the Ambassadors is twofold:

1) To raise awareness among our peers about Bangladesh and its living conditions, in order to help the underprivileged citizens of Bangladesh attain a better standard of living.

2) Foster a sense of charity and promote community service within our home of Southern California.

If this is a mission that you feel passionate about, please complete the appication below by December 1 to be considered for the Ambassador cycle.

ELIGIBILITY

Am I or my child eligible for the BACHAO Ambassador program?

Any student in 9th-12th grade is welcome to apply for the Ambassador program. Younger children will not be accepted into the program simply because the level of commitment may be too high for them to be comfortably matched. Prior volunteer experience is preferred but not required for entry into the Ambassador program.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Emphasizing the mission of BACHAO and pointing out the it is an IRS approved 501 (c) organization and its Board of Directors’ are committed to ensuring the 100% of the donations reach the recipients.

2. Soliciting donations in any anount my drecting friends to the BACHAO website (www.Bachaohelp.org)

3. Each year the Ambassadors will decide among themselves what charitable activities they might want to engage in such as arrainging walkathons, volunteering in soup kitchens, etc.

Policy: During the BACHAO Annual Benefit Event, the BACHAO Ambassadors will have a 10-15 minute presentation about what they have done to spread the word and mission of BACHAO. The Ambassadors will be presented with a certificate and a group picture will be taken with the Board of Directors.

Once your application is accepted, we will provide you with a two-hour training session during the summer to prepare you to be a BACHAO Ambassador.
